What Type Are You?

This is not your typical “type” quiz. It doesn’t ask you about how you like to spend your weekend, your ideal vacation spot, the books you read or your favourite meal. This quiz is all about typography. What font best describes you? Click here, then type in your name, press enter and enjoy the experience!

What Type Are You?

What type am I? Pistilli Roman. I am emotional, assertive, traditional and disciplined.

How fun! I enjoyed my private counseling session 🙂

Turns out that I’m Van Doesburg type! It’s a type that is balanced, strong and classic. I love it!

  2. Denis says:

I’m Cooper Black Italic, like 9.4% of the population.

You know what…I think I kind of am Cooper Black Italic.

    • Jordana says:

Cooper Black Italic, eh? Very bold and the italic portion adds a bit of softness to the font. For those who want to read up on Cooper Black Italic, here’s a link to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooper_Black
Thanks for sharing your type Denis!
P.S. Pistilli Roman…I’m like 3.3% of the population.

  3. Johanne says:

Wow I really like the Cooper Black Italic- it’s very cool.

This is a good example of the Theo Van Doesburg typography: http://www.foundrytypes.co.uk/foundry_architype_1/van_doesburg.html

  4. Johanne says:

.. ps. and I love the Pistilli Roman! It’s truly lovely.

I’m so not surprised that my type is very much into equality of letters- a value I champion in my every day life, of course.

Apparently I’m not aloene, either: 8.1% of the population is also Van Doesburg.

The other types on this quiz are also beautiful- I would have had a hard time picking out a fave!

I finally got around to doing this (so fun!) and I’m Plastica. Classic, emotional and understated…
